It’s late in the day for a post. I realize that. In fact, most of my readers are probably thinking this is the one day I will fail to post. Wrong! I’m here. 🙂 Today was a day of buckling down and finishing my paper on Shakespeare, reserving all our hotel rooms for our honeymoon, reading more in When People Are Big and God is Small, and having a meeting with a lady about wedding flowers. 🙂 Phew…. a lot done. and I slept in ‘til quarter to 8, a mistake for sure but one that gave me a full 8 hours of sleep. Sigh… oh, boy.
Tonight I’m having a girls’ night with Sarah and Emily. 🙂 I went to Weiss, got us another box of Reese’s Puffs, and later we will watch Lost and enjoy some girl time. 🙂 I really look forward to it.
It’s official! I get my cats tomorrow!! Whoohoo!!
I might have found a place to get my hair done for the wedding!! 🙂 I’m so excited! There’s a lady right on Front St who is a friend of the lady who’s doing the flowers for the wedding. Apparently she’s great, so I’m going to see if we can arrange her doing my hair. 🙂

LOL…what’d ya think? I’m a fan of option #3 myself, although I think Adam will like #2 better. 🙂 🙂 lol…sorry, I couldn’t help it. There’s no way I’m letting you in on what my hairstyle will be. 🙂 You’ll have to wait for that one.
Next week I house-sit for some lady I have never met. Sound sketchy yet? lol A friend of Mrs. Bowman’s is going away for a week, and she needs someone to watch her house and her two dogs. So, I’m going to watch her house during the day and use the time there to finish up all my assignments for classes – whoohoo!! It should be kinda fun, I guess.
So, when I woke up this morning, I realized I live in a mess. I need to change my sheets – it’s been way too long – I need to put away my laundry, and once in a while, I should go through the stuff on my bedside table. Poor Maggie. I wonder how she puts up with me! Also, it’s about that time. Today was another absolutely beautiful day!! I couldn’t find my flip-flops (how did I lose them already?), but I’m so ready for shorts!!! (Well, lol, my skin’s not ready for the summer. I look white as a ghost!! Help!!) However, either I have been dreadfully teased and winter is going to need to go to come back and kick me royally in the butt, or it’s time to go through my clothes and switch out my winter clothes for spring clothes!! I sure hope it’s the latter. I might just … just… pout really hard if it’s winter all over again in a few days.
It’s 7:44pm, and yes, I’m about to read another chapter, so I can write a paper for Rhetorical Criticism. There is light at the end of the tunnel – right??? lol, yes, indeed (I’m beginning to hate the word “indeed”) there is, for in about 10 days, I will be completely finished with my bachelors of arts in communication. Hallejuah!
