I’m working today, back to the good ol’ grind of tutoring essays. I really enjoy it actually. It gets a little boring when everyone has the same problem with comma rules or capitalization, but I really can’t complain. It’s good, honest work; and I can pretty much do it from home.
I say pretty much because we still need to get solid internet at the cabin. It’s sketchy at best, so that means checking Facebook is about the extent of my internet capabilities, and even that takes a good bit of loading time every once in a while.
On to other things, my right tonsil is swollen again and I’m exhausted. Ugh. I’m hoping that as I fill myself with vitamins galore, I might be able to fight this tonsil back into submission. The exhaustion will be here for a while, I’m afraid. Stupid mono. Keep Adam in your prayers. He’s exhausted — more than normal after long hours of work?? – and I’m afraid he might have caught this cursed illness.

I got a spaghetti squash!! I’m super excited! I’m not 100% sure when I’ll cook it, but I hope to write about it soon and let you know just how wonderful the experience was.
Cooking…sigh. I’m realizing more and more just how much I love it and how relaxing it is to me. Tonight I’m trying a new recipe for dinner, I want to try to cook my spaghetti squash, and I have an urge to bake. LOL…. I’m gonna have to wait on that last one ’cause I just baked a chocolate cake yesterday. lol.oh well. I really, really want to make a pumpkin pie, pumpkin bread, and/or pumpkin/chocolate chip cookies. I also really want to make an apple pie!
I’m so happy to be going grocery shopping this weekend to get some of these ingredients! Holiday baking must begin! 🙂

P.S. Today I’m craving oatmeal with peanut butter and jelly mixed in. Sigh… wonderful goodness! 🙂
