My Little “Man”

There are few things in life like having a son. I don’t have one, but I look forward to that day.  Adam and I joke around that Watson is our “son”, and this morning, my “son” has been particularly affectionate.

I was standing at the counter getting Adam’s vitamins for him this morning, when Watson decided that he’d jump from the chair he was sitting on onto my shoulder to see what I was doing with his favorite toy (yes, vitamins are his favorite and unfortunate toy.)  Here’s the results of that jump:

Later on this morning, I could resist but snap a picture when he so-adorably stood up next to me at the sink while I did dishes.  What a nut!  Doesn’t he know that cats aren’t supposed to like water??

Time to do dishes....

  1. Cats are great company. We have 3 of them….all different colors AND different personalities. Our Big Guy as we call him sleeps on the bed with me at night since Chuck works nights. He keeps my feet nice and warm. Then we have Buster who is an ity bity tiger cat and very affectionate. And last we have Houdini…..the name says it all. I grew up with cats….Chuck didn’t. We didn’t get a cat till our girls were ages 3 and 5….our very first one being a huge orange and white we named Otis Peterson Barker. He was the best. Cats are easy pets cause you can leave dry food and water and a litter box and go away for several days and they are fine. They are def. my favorite pet. Yours is very pretty and obviously very smart. And they are pretty good company until you have a little one crawling around on the floor 🙂
