Product Reviews: CelifbR Gluten-Free Bouillon

We recently had a progressive dinner with our local church. It was fun!  We went to four or five homes, starting with soups and ending with dessert and a birthday celebration for our pastor.

I couldn’t do much cooking for this dinner, but my pastor’s wife Edie was making chicken and gravy to top some biscuits…(Can I say “yum”???) However, there were a half-dozen people attending this function (including Adam, my father-in-law, and Edie herself) that were gluten-free.

I was thankful to be able to add to the progressive dinner menu with Celifbr gluten-free bouillon.

Allergy-Related Information: Gluten-Free, Milk-Free, Soy-Free, Egg-Free, Organic, No MSG, No Active Yeast, No Hydrogenated Oils

Taste

Pros: I was really, really impressed with the taste of this bouillon!  If I had not supplied the bouillon myself, I would never have thought that this was gluten-free in anyway!

Cons: No cons here!

Texture/Moisture

Pros: Some gluten-free products are obviously grainy and affect recipes in a negative, textural way. This bouillon did no such thing! I’ve tried both the beef bouillon and the chicken bouillon, and they both dissolved well and were smooth to the taste!

Cons: What can  say? The bouillon cubes were a little tough to break apart.  Just a small “con”. 🙂

What I Love

I love the natural ingredients that make up this bouillon!  MSG-free! That is saying something!  In a world of fake ingredients and unhealthy manufacturing, I love that CelifbR has offered a healthy but great-tasting alternative.

What I’d Improve

I would love to see this sold in bulk! I’m gonna have to do some online research! 🙂
