Ah, sun. I’m lounging outside in the grass above my cabin on an old, striped blanket. I’m in a wonderful tanktop and shorts and Watson is “wapsing” (In Adam’s terms) all over me. I’ll probably end up with a lopsided sunburn because of him. Oh well. 🙂
I’m happily adjusted to my thicker liquid diet. lol.. I’m not sure I’ll stay here at the liquid stage forever (for the rest of the 40 days), but for now, I think a thick, well-blended diet is doing me well.
I’ve yet to introduce anything else into my system besides dairy and the carrot soup I made. I just finished the last of it, and let me tell you: I know what I’ll be making every time I juice carrots from here on out. Amazing, healthy, light, and a perfect snack/meal.
Call it whatever you want: a health kick, an obsession, hippy-ish…whatever. I don’t care, but I’m definitely focusing more on health and food and eating right than I was primarily. That doesn’t mean Adam will be eating veggie burgers from now on, but it does mean that I personally will be making things a little healthier than before in order to maintain a healthy body.
I’m going to start blogging about this fast/cleanse every other day now in order to work in some of the other posts (Talk about It Tuesdays, Food-Filled Fridays, recipes, and product reviews) back into the posts. I’ll keep you updated on my health throughout and hope you will continue to pray for me as well.
Today’s craving: Pizza
On to tackle my to-do list…
P.S. My energy level has returned even in this last 24 hrs. Even my co-workers noticed it. Thank the Lord. He is the ultimate Sustainer. 🙂
Yeay!!!! Love You.
My mother in law also says juicing carrots is really yummy. I’ll have to try it. Great job on this fast so far, you gooo girl!
