Product Reviews: Crunchmaster Gluten-Free Crackers

I’m a carb-lover. I’ve mentioned this before. To me, one of the best snacks is not a sweet donut or a soft cookie but a good cracker and some high-quality cheese.  For a gluten-free eater like Adam, that simple pleasure is not a reality…. or is it?

There are a variety of cracker companies within the gluten-free community, but one company offers variety, constant updates and new flavors, and more!

Appearance

Pros: I love how thin these crackers are!  They’re not thick and “clunky” and requiring as much cheese as they are thick to stomach them. 🙂 They’re light and airy…. and addicting [crunch crunch].

Cons: I did find that a number of these very thin and just as tasty crackers were broken. That stinks. Adam throws out broken crackers. Don’t worry: I eat them!

Taste

Pros: I love the grainy-ness of these crackers. There’s substance to them. You can taste the variety of textures and grains, and the flavors of each kind of cracker add such a delightful taste.  My favorite: the rosemary olive oil. Adam’s favorite: artisan four-cheese.

Cons: My only con here is that they are kind of a dryer cracker. They’re not a stick-to-the-roof-of-your-mouth dry, but they are not a soft cracker like a Ritz or something.

Moisture/Texture

Pros: I love that these multi-grain crackers are just that, multi-grain and healthy as a cracker option and yet, they don’t have a gritty taste to them that would make them repelling to a not-so-healthy eater like Adam. 🙂

Cons: No cons here!

What I Love

I love these crackers, because they have a very healthy taste. Healthy taste? Yes, rich in flavor and texture, optimal for dressing in soft cheese or dip or enjoyable on their own. Furthermore, I love that these are not like eating gritty sand. They’re healthy but tasty!

What I’d Improve

As much as I like the natural taste, sometimes Adam just wants a good ol’ cracker. I think that Crunchmaster should take the same mastery that got us their delectable multi-grain crackers and develop some more classic, Ritz-style crackers.
