Running burns calories. Loss of calories makes me hungry. As a result, I find myself starving all day every day. I bring a lot of snacks to work to keep me going, but I also walk 3 miles there, and often, my few snacks are not enough.
Granola bars are a great snack that are often rich in nutrients.

Appearance
Pros: The packaging on these bars are fine and very classic of this company. 🙂
Cons: Unfortunately, there is no nutritional information on this bar, and the list of ingredients, although thorough, only includes a very minimal logo saying “gluten-free”, which leaves out the rest of the other allergy-free features of this bar.
Taste
Pros: Very natural, almost homemade!
Cons: As a whole, I was really disappointed with the taste. Not only did the peanut butter chocolate granola bar have ridiculously absent chocolate chips – I had 1, yes 1 chocolate chip in the whole bar – but it didn’t taste like peanut butter… or much of anything actually. In fact, there was almost a sweet, berry-ish taste that was not supposed to be there. Very disappointing.
Moisture/Texture
Pros: The texture and moisture level in this bar was fine. I was happy to see that it remained bendy and moist even after months in my cabinet.
Cons: No cons here!
What I Love
Unfortunately, if I’m to be honest, I’m not a fan of these bars and don’t have much to say that I “LOVE” except that I do appreciate and love the use of natural ingredients.
What I’d Improve
I would most-definitely work on the flavor of these bars, because as of right now, they would discourage someone looking for a healthy snack bar, whereas there are numerous, great tasting bars out there. Unfortunately, this is not one of them.
