Before I’m 30

A few years ago, bucket lists were the new fad. I don’t know if it was inspired by the film The Bucket List or if that was a response to the social desire to set long-term goals, but I’ve found this listing of life to-do’s as an interesting aspect of our society.

If you’ve watched the movie The Bucket List at all, then you know that the two men in that tale, get to be older and realize there’s still so much of life that they want to experience.  To me, that’s sad.  I don’t want to be in the hospital dying, only to realize that I have so many things I still want to do or places I want to go or experiences I want to have.

In order to effectively meet my life goals, I have decided I will simply determine my bucket list in terms of decades.  I’m only 24, so below is my list for what I want to accomplish before I’m 30.

**Bear with me here.  Adam says I’m weird, and I know I am, so my list of things I’m interested in accomplishing, seeing, doing, experiencing, etc, may be much different than yours.**

To Accomplish before I’m 30:
(in no particular order)

1. Get my concealed carry pistol permit
2. Lead someone to the Lord
3. Memorize a book of the Bible
4. Skydive
5. Re-learn Spanish, so I’m conversational (and confident)
6. Cliff jump
7. Compete in a triathlon
8. Get a tattoo
9. Go back to Israel
10. Run a half-marathon
11. Learn to surf
12. Submit my first transcript for publishing
13. Learn to coupon
14. Be renting to own, and re-modeling the kitchen
15. Be debt-free

This year I plan on tackling a few of those…

What about you?
